Pakistani pop star and music icon Haroon, is a singer-songwriter, music producer, composer, director , writer and social activist. He is also a Peabody Award winner and Emmy nominated director for the critically acclaimed animated TV series he created Burka Avenger.
He first found fame as the lead singer of the pop band Awaz. Which had huge hits such as Ay jawan, Jadoo Ka Chiragh, Main Na Manoo Haar and others. Haroon went on to release his solo albums which sold millions of singles and albums worldwide and perform at large venues globally such as the Wembley Arena. Some of his well known solo hits include Mahbooba, Dil Se Pakistan, Mehndi, Jeekay Dekha, Yara and others.
